Nomination for Golden Acorn Recognition Award
The Golden Acorn Award is offered by the Washington State PTA for recognition of an individual who has gone above and beyond, giving outstanding service to our school community. Click HERE to submit your nomination! *Nominations must be received by Sunday, May 17th!
HOW IS THE RECIPIENT CHOSEN? Families and staff of Happy Valley Elementary vote for a recipient. Whoever obtains the most votes wins.
WHO MAY RECEIVE A GOLDEN ACORN? Anyone may receive a Golden Acorn. However, prior year recipients are not eligible.
WHAT’S THIS I HEAR ABOUT A SCHOLARSHIP? Part of the award is that a donation of $50 is made in the name of the winner by the Happy Valley PTA to the WSPTA Foundation to provide scholarships to students entering into higher education.
