On-Site Programs



Bellingham Youth Ultimate Frisbee

Grades 2-5 | April 11 – June 6 | 2:30 – 4:00 | Happy Valley Field | $139.10 | 30 Students Max.

Ultimate Frisbee is an exciting, fun, non-contact team sport that mixes elements of soccer, basketball, and American football into one high-energy game. Top-level ultimate players require an unmatched degree of speed, stamina, and agility, yet the simplicity of the rules means it is easy and fun for newcomers to pick up. The sport is also self-refereed, emphasizing mutual respect among players. This program is coed, all students are encouraged to play! All kids get a cool Bellingham Youth Ultimate Frisbee to take home!



  Wild Whatcom Neighborhood Nature

Grades K-5 | April 12 – June 7 | 2:30 – 4:30 | Outdoors | $245 | 12 Students Max.

Neighborhood Nature encourages kids to connect with their surrounding ecosystem through exploration, play, art, and nature activities. Kids will learn to love the natural world right around them, develop naturalist knowledge, build community, and enjoy free play and exploration. We meet rain or shine!



BAAY EduArts Outdoor Theatre

Grades 3-5 | April 20 – June 8 | 2:30 – 3:30 | Outdoor Covered Area | $105 | 20 Students Max.

Theatre is all about fun, creativity, and teamwork! If you love creating stories, singing, dancing, telling jokes, and being in character, then this is the class for you! Each student will have opportunities to grow and build confidence through exploring the basics of acting and performing. We will do some acting exercises, improv games, scenes, and so much more! Let's work together to create new worlds!

Final performance on June 8 at 5:00pm!




Girls on the Run (Girls Only)

Grades 3-5 | April 14 – June 9 | 12:45 – 2:30 | Happy Valley Track | 15 Students Max.

Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum while creatively integrating running to help prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Girls learn to think through the effects of their choices, practice empathy, and consider how they can impact their communities, while making new friends, building their confidence, and celebrating all that makes them unique. Fee includes healthy snacks, T-shirt, and entrance into a celebratory 5K. 



Adventure Quest

Grades 1-5 | April 15 – June 10 | 2:30 – 4:30 | Outdoor Covered Area | $270 | 12 Students Max.

In Adventure Quest, children become the heroes of a fun and dynamic quest, working together in a mythical and magical world to overcome interesting challenges, solve mystifying riddles, brainstorm unique solutions to puzzling dilemmas, and swashbuckle with foes. Wielding safe foam Swasher swords, the questers play dueling games and act out challenges in an environment that teaches good sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for others. Each week will offer a new chapter in the story; as the adventure unfolds every student will have a chance to shine as they face new challenges and puzzles.

YMCA Trail Blazers
